By booking a session, completing the intake questionnaire, or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.
1. What this service is
David Dark Foundational Health provides health and lifestyle mentoring. David works with you to explore dietary and lifestyle changes based on his personal experience and study of metabolic health, ancestral nutrition, and whole-food approaches. The service includes (depending on your engagement): a free discovery call, an intake questionnaire, one-on-one mentoring sessions via video call, between-session support via messaging, and session summaries.
2. What this service is not
This is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. David is a health mentor, not a doctor, dietitian, nutritionist, or registered health practitioner. See our Disclaimer for full details.
3. Discovery call
The discovery call is a free, 20-minute video call. There is no obligation on either side to proceed. David may decline to take on a client if he believes the service is not appropriate for their situation.
4. Intake questionnaire
By completing the questionnaire, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge, you consent to the collection and use of this information as described in our Privacy Policy, and you understand that the questionnaire is for mentoring purposes, not medical assessment.
5. Engagement packages and pricing
All prices are in USD. Regional pricing is displayed at checkout.

We reserve the right to update pricing. Changes apply to new engagements only.
6. Payment terms
Single Consult and Starter are paid in full upfront. Standard may be split into monthly instalments or paid upfront. Extended defaults to monthly billing. All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment details.
7. Session recording and transcription
With your consent, sessions are recorded and transcribed to generate session summaries. Your consent is required before any recording takes place. You may withdraw consent at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
8. Cancellation and rescheduling
You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours' notice at no cost. No-shows are counted as used sessions. If you wish to end an engagement early, a pro-rated refund is provided for unused sessions, minus a $50 USD administration fee. No refunds are available for sessions that have already taken place.
9. Between-session messaging
Ongoing engagement clients have access to David via private messaging for quick questions, updates, and support. This messaging is not for medical emergencies or crisis support. David responds within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 24 hours on business days.
10. Confidentiality
David treats all client information as confidential. Information is not shared except where required by law, with third-party service providers who process data on our behalf, or with your explicit consent.
11. Limitation of liability
David Dark Foundational Health is not liable for any health outcomes, adverse effects, or consequences arising from changes you make to your diet or lifestyle. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific engagement. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Intellectual property
Content provided during mentoring is for your personal use only. Your personal information and health data remain yours.
13. Testimonials
At the end of your engagement, David may ask whether you would be willing to provide a testimonial. This is entirely voluntary. You may withdraw your testimonial at any time.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. If you are an international client, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your own country.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to new engagements only. Significant changes will be communicated by email.
